Scholarships for Career or Technical Certificates or Degrees: The Horatio Alger CTE Scholarship program is pleased to announce it is now accepting applications for more than 500 awards of up to for $2,500 each. Scholarships are awarded to students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their lives who wish to pursue a career or technical education at an accredited non-profit post-secondary institution in the United States. Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship
Each year, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation awards 150 college scholarships worth $20,000 to high school students across the United States through the Coca-Cola Scholars Program.

The Eugene McDermott Scholars Program: Established by Mrs. Eugene McDermott in support of her husband's dream, the McDermott Scholars program provides select University of Texas at Dallas students with a rigorous and personalized education as well as intensive extracurricular activities. The McDermott Scholars application must be completed and submitted online. Stephen F. Austin State University Smith-Hutson Scholarship- The Smith-Hutson Scholarship awards up to $17,500 a year for four consecutive years to incoming freshmen who can demonstrate financial need and academic potential. Texas A&M Foundation Scholarship-The Texas A&M Foundation offers a wide variety of scholarships designed to expand access to higher education and support students from diverse backgrounds. 2025 Austin Bank Scholarship Program: The Austin Bank Scholarship Program awards educational scholarships to high school students to assist them with their college expenses. U.S. Presidential Scholars Program - The United States Presidential Scholars Program honors graduating seniors for their outstanding scholarship, achievement and promise of future success. Seniors chosen as U.S. Presidential Scholars are selected by the Commission on Presidential Scholars and will receive an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. where they will be presented with a medallion at a ceremony in their honor. An individual recipient’s long term accumulated maximum scholarship is limited to $4000. This is the maximum limit of funding- it is not a guarantee that an applicant will receive the $1000 scholarship per year for four years.
This is a 1-year (2 semesters) scholarship, beginning with the Fall semester. Each semester will be
funded upon proof of enrollment/registration and last semester grades transcript/GPA. A minimum
of a 2.50 GPA on a 4.00 scale is required to continue subsequent semesters’ funding.

The Longview Lions Club announces the 2023 Longview Lions Club Scholarship Awards Program.
