About Coach Harbison

This is my 7th year at Spring Hill. I am the head volleyball coach and head girls track coach. I received my bachelors degree at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, and my masters degree through Lamar University. I am a Californian transplant who married a Texan. My wife teaches English here at Spring Hill and my son, Micah, is 10. I enjoy camping, hiking, volleyball, and basketball, as well as making math dad jokes.

General Information

Grades for SHHS are calculated as follows:

Tests 60%, Homework 40%

Cheating/Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Cheating will result in a grade of zero that cannot be made up and a conference scheduled with parents. Cheating/Plagiarism includes but is not limited to: copying another student’s work/test, finding work online and using it as your own, using phones/cheat sheets on a test without permission

Classroom Expectations:

Be Prepared- Come to class with everything you need for the day. Keep in mind the things you will need for projects and classwork as well.
Be Prompt- Please be on time. Coming in late is not only a distraction for your fellow students but hinders your learning since you have missed material.
Be Productive- Make the most of your time with me. Please do not distract the people around you.
Be Polite- Respect EVERYONE; teacher, classmates, and substitutes included.
