Spring Hill Varsity Track & Field opened the season winning eight events last week at the Pirate Relays in Pittsburg. The Lady Panthers earned a first place team finish, and the Panthers finished third overall. Way to go!
Varsity Lady Panthers received gold in the 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles, and pole vault by Emerson Brown, the 200m dash by Za’riah Turner, and the 4x400m relay by Ester Arteaga, Za’riah Turner, Ayva Spakes, and Emerson Brown.
Varsity Panthers placing first in their events include Trevor Allen in long jump, Julius Hawkins in pole vault, and Brady Meyer in the 800m dash.
Spring Hill Varsity Track & Field will compete next on Friday, March 1, at Pewitt.
