This is my 3rd year at Spring Hill.  I am the head volleyball coach and assistant track coach.  I received my bachelors degree at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, and my masters degree through Lamar University. I am a Californian transplant who married a Texan.  My wife teaches English online and my son, Micah, is 6.  I enjoy camping, hiking, volleyball, and basketball, as well as making math dad jokes.

General Information

Grades for SHHS are calculated as follows:
Tests 60%, Homework 40%
Cheating/Plagiarism will not be tolerated.  Cheating will result in a grade of zero that cannot be made up and a conference scheduled with parents. Cheating/Plagiarism includes but is not limited to: copying another student’s work/test, finding work online and using it as your own, using phones/cheat sheets on a test without permission
 
Classroom Expectations:

  • Be Prepared- Come to class with everything you need for the day. Keep in mind the things you will need for projects and classwork as well.

  • Be Prompt- Please be on time. Coming in late is not only a distraction for your fellow students but hinders your learning since you have missed material.

  • Be Productive- Make the most of your time with me. Please do not distract the people around you.

  • Be Polite- Respect EVERYONE; teacher, classmates, and substitutes included.

  • Be Positive- Never give up. “You never fail until you stop trying.” -Albert Einstein
